Full job description

The Security Operations Analyst is responsible for ensuring security tools operate effectively, promptly detecting, investigating, containing, and remediating incidents, and identifying and remediating vulnerabilities. Responsibilities include monitoring and administering security tools such as WAF, DoS Protection, Endpoint Protection, EDR, Firewall, IDS/IPS, Identity and Brand Protection, Cloud Security Posture Management, Attack Surface Management, AI Governance, and Pentesting. The role involves incident containment and documentation, threat and vulnerability assessments, third party risk management evaluations, security risk assessments and audits, developing SOPs for security playbooks and tools, recommending system and network hardening practices, and evaluating new security technologies. Requirements include a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity, knowledge of security principles and frameworks (MITRE ATTACK, ISO 27001, OWASP), network architecture, Linux, Windows, AWS, scripting (Python, PowerShell, Linux Shell), relevant security certifications, strong communication and analytical skills, ability to work under minimal supervision and stress, and availability for on-call shifts and US morning meetings. Shift timing typically covers 2PM-11PM IST with occasional later hours.
