Full job description

Merkle is building a Salesforce Developers Talent Community for future roles in Czech Republic, Serbia, and Portugal. The role involves working primarily with Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud to customize solutions, prepare automated tests, perform data modelling and manipulation, implement process automation using code and declarative tools, and integrate with external systems. Candidates should have good knowledge of Java, .NET, or Salesforce Apex, basic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, experience with Git, JSON, XML, SQL, and familiarity with cloud environments, preferably Salesforce. Experience with AWS, Heroku, REST, SOAP, and Visual Studio Code is advantageous. The role requires experience with the software development lifecycle and agile development, and fluency in English. Czech, German, or French language skills are a plus. Benefits include international projects, a dynamic, agile environment, and a friendly international team. This is a full-time, mid-level position with hybrid work options based in Prague.

What you'll do

  • Work with Salesforce (mainly Sales & Service Cloud) and customize solutions according to client needs
  • Prepare automated tests to cover business functionalities
  • Perform data modelling and data manipulation
  • Implement process automation using code and declarative tools in Salesforce Platform
  • Implement functional and non-functional requirements and integrate with external systems
  • Estimate and take ownership of implementation of smaller components or parts of projects
  • Collaborate with internal team to exchange ideas
  • Learn, improve and share knowledge to become a Salesforce Trailblazer

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of Java / .NET / Salesforce Apex or similar technologies
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Experience with Git and/or other version control systems
  • Understanding of JSON and XML
  • Knowledge of data modelling and SQL-like languages
  • Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably Salesforce
  • Experience with Salesforce.com platform and APEX is a great advantage
  • Knowledge in AWS, Heroku or other CRM providers is an advantage
  • Experience with Webservices and interfaces (REST and SOAP)
  • Experience with common IDEs and tools such as Visual Studio Code
  • Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle and agile development
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken
  • Czech, German or French language skills are an advantage
