Full job description
The Sales Operations Analyst role in India supports sales performance analysis and sales compensation processes across APAC markets. Responsibilities include executing sales compensation cycles, building and assigning sales targets, providing operational support for compensation activities, collaborating with global teams, analyzing sales and operational data, supporting business processes, identifying process improvements, and partnering with Sales Leadership for operational planning and decision-making. Requirements include 5+ years in Sales Operations or related fields, strong analytical and communication skills, advanced Excel expertise, and experience with Salesforce, Anaplan, PowerBI, and SQL is a plus. English fluency is mandatory; knowledge of Japanese, Korean, or Mandarin is a plus. The position is full-time, senior level, and hybrid based in Gurgaon, India. What you'll do
- Execute sales compensation cycles for assigned APAC markets, including target setting, performance measurement, and achievement tracking
- Build and assign sales targets in partnership with Sales Leadership, applying defined compensation rules, trend analysis, and business priorities
- Provide operational support for compensation activities, acting as the day-to-day contact for inquiries and resolving data or process issues
- Collaborate with the Global Compensation team by providing regional input and supporting ongoing process and tool improvements
- Analyze sales and operational data and share practical insights with Sales Leadership
- Support key business processes by contributing to specific steps and helping improve accuracy, consistency, and scalability across APAC and globally
- Identify process issues within your scope and work with stakeholders to implement improvements
- Act as a trusted partner to Sales Leadership by helping align business goals with operational planning
- Support data-informed decision-making through clear analysis, recommendations, and scenario inputs
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that help evolve the APAC operating model
Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience in Sales Operations, Sales Strategy, Business Analytics or similar role - preferably in an international, matrixed organization
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and present complex data effectively
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and senior stakeholders
- Organized, proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with minimum direct supervision
- Detail-oriented team player who collaborates well with others and contributes positively in a cross-functional environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills/expertise essential
- Experience with Salesforce, Anaplan, PowerBI, and SQL is a plus
- English: Fluent (mandatory)
- Japanese, Korean, and/or Mandarin: Plus
