Full job description

Account Manager role reporting to Account Director and Head of Account Management, China. Location options include Shanghai, Beijing, or Guangzhou, China. Responsible for retaining and growing key accounts through strategic partnerships and successful campaigns. Mentor junior Account Services team members. Key duties include client management, campaign management, administrative support, technical support, product and industry knowledge, and insight delivery. Requires 3+ years experience in advertising/media agency or similar, client-facing programmatic advertising experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and alignment with company values. What you'll do

  • Develop client-specific strategy with Sales, Trading, DnA, and Marketing teams
  • Adapt focus and priorities based on new information
  • Protect and grow key accounts via upsell/cross-sell
  • Listen to stakeholders and clients to understand needs and identify solutions
  • Flex to client needs without compromising company interests and resolve issues swiftly
  • Maintain regular communication including meetings, entertainment, and business reviews
  • Stay informed on industry trends and their impact
  • QA pre-campaign documents
  • Develop detailed media plans based on Sales input
  • Manage creative asset build and campaign setup
  • Manage creative tag trafficking
  • Request and deliver screengrabs
  • Ensure client reporting setup
  • Monitor campaign pacing and performance
  • Request campaign upweights when appropriate
  • Manage and deliver post-campaign reporting and insights
  • Manage re-booking of BAU activity
  • Manage IOs and understand Sales pipeline in Salesforce
  • Reconcile bookings as appropriate
  • Support investigation and resolution of invoice queries
  • Implement and troubleshoot tracking pixels
  • Use Tag Management Systems (GTM, Tealium)
  • Troubleshoot campaign issues with Tech team support
  • Understand MiQ’s product suite and USPs versus competitors
  • Research industry trends and their impact on MiQ and clients
  • Deliver insight-driven recommendations during and post campaign
  • Recognize patterns and points of differentiation to provide actionable insights

Requirements

  • 3+ years in an advertising/media agency or similar
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Client-facing experience in programmatic advertising (Client Services, Sales Support, Ad-Ops background)
  • High attention to detail
