Full job description

Account Manager role reporting to Account Director and Head of Account Management, China. Location options include Shanghai, Beijing, or Guangzhou, China. Responsibilities include developing client strategies with cross-functional teams, managing and growing key accounts, campaign management including media planning, creative asset coordination, tag trafficking, campaign activation, monitoring, and reporting. Administrative duties include IO management and invoice query support using Salesforce. Technical tasks involve implementing and troubleshooting tracking pixels and tag management systems (GTM, Tealium). The role requires 3+ years in advertising/media agency or similar, client-facing programmatic advertising experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and alignment with company values. What you'll do

  • Develop client-specific strategy with Sales, Trading, DnA, and Marketing teams
  • Adapt focus and priorities based on new information
  • Protect and grow key accounts via upsell/cross-sell
  • Listen to stakeholders and clients to identify needs and solutions
  • Flex to client needs without compromising company interests
  • Maintain regular communication including meetings and business reviews
  • Stay informed on industry trends and impacts
  • QA pre-campaign documents and develop detailed media plans
  • Manage creative asset build and campaign setup
  • Manage creative tag trafficking
  • Request and deliver screengrabs
  • Ensure client reporting setup
  • Monitor campaign pacing and performance
  • Request campaign upweights when appropriate
  • Deliver post-campaign reporting and insights
  • Manage re-booking of BAU activity
  • Manage IOs and sales pipeline in Salesforce
  • Reconcile bookings and support invoice query resolution
  • Implement and troubleshoot tracking pixels
  • Use Tag Management Systems (GTM, Tealium)
  • Troubleshoot campaign issues with Tech team support
  • Understand MiQ’s product suite and competitive USPs
  • Research industry trends and their impact
  • Deliver insight-driven recommendations during and post campaign
  • Recognize patterns and deliver actionable insights

Requirements

  • 3+ years in an advertising/media agency or similar
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Client-facing experience in programmatic advertising (Client Services, Sales Support, Ad-Ops background)
