Full job description
Digital Turbine seeks a Sales Manager for Indonesia to drive adoption of mobile advertising solutions in Indonesia's mobile-first market. The role requires ownership of revenue targets, strategic agency management, market evangelism, competitive positioning, full-funnel solution selling, programmatic growth, cross-functional collaboration, and market intelligence. Candidates must have 10+ years in digital advertising sales, with 5+ years in Mobile Ad-Tech or Programmatic, a strong network in Indonesia's agency and brand marketing sectors, deep mobile landscape knowledge including SDK integrations and attribution, familiarity with walled gardens, programmatic ecosystem fluency, entrepreneurial spirit, and strong communication skills. Preference given to Indonesian citizens or Permanent Residents. The position is hybrid and based in Jakarta.
What you'll do
- Own and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets for Indonesia book of business across managed and programmatic channels
- Secure and scale 'Always On' agreements and preferred partnership status with Agency Holding Companies and large local Independent Agencies
- Position Digital Turbine as a critical component of brand mobile strategy highlighting premium in-app inventory
- Competitively position Digital Turbine against walled gardens and other mobile advertising competitors
- Educate clients on utilizing supply for brand awareness (video/display) and performance-driven objectives
- Work closely with programmatic trading desks and DSP partners to prioritize Digital Turbine supply
- Partner with AdOps, Account Management, and Creative Lab teams to ensure campaign excellence and client retention
- Act as thought leader in Indonesia providing feedback on local market trends and competitor moves
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in digital advertising sales
- At least 5 years specifically within Mobile Ad-Tech or Programmatic space
- Extensive, high-level network of decision-makers within Indonesia’s Agency Business Units and Brand Marketers
- Deep understanding of the mobile landscape, including SDK integrations, attribution (MMPs), brand measurement standards and audience addressability
- Intimate familiarity with walled gardens’ strengths and weaknesses
- Strong understanding of the programmatic ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs, PMPs, and Header Bidding)
- Self-starter who can work independently and collaborate with a global team
- Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills; ability to simplify complex ad-tech concepts for C-suite stakeholders and decision makers
- Preference for Indonesian citizens or Permanent Residents (KITAP holders)
