Full job description
VideoAmp seeks a Sales Lead to manage the WPP portfolio, driving revenue growth and exceeding sales KPIs. The role requires 7+ years of sales experience in data, TV, and digital video, with existing WPP relationships and agency experience preferred. Responsibilities include managing the full sales cycle, building client relationships, collaborating cross-functionally, and staying informed on industry trends. The position is hybrid in New York City with a base salary of $120,000 – $143,000 plus 100% commission, equity, and benefits including PTO, health coverage, 401(k), parental leave, and commuter perks.
What you'll do
- Own and exceed revenue goals and sales activity KPIs across the WPP portfolio
- Accelerate demand for VideoAmp solutions among a large portfolio of holding company agencies and their advertisers
- Champion the VideoAmp brand — pitch confidently in market while continuously deepening knowledge of advanced product offerings
- Demonstrate authorship, agency, and full accountability across book of business
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth, manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, including contract negotiations
- Build and maintain deep relationships with agency and brand clients, understanding their needs and proactively delivering solutions aligned to their goals
- Collaborate cross-functionally with strategy & pricing, revenue operations, client success, product, marketing, and engineering to ensure seamless client outcomes
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and holding company dynamics — and bring those insights back to the organization
- Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships, generate leads, and represent VideoAmp at the highest level
Requirements
- 7+ years of sales experience in data, TV, and/or digital video, with direct experience and existing relationships at WPP
- Agency experience strongly preferred
- Proven track record of working with both brands and agencies on complex product offerings
- History of solid sales achievement and experience structuring and closing large, multi-layered enterprise deals
- Deep product knowledge and technical fluency across data strategy, analytics, measurement, and ad operations
- Expertise with external sales tools including Media Radar, eMarketer, Kantar, Seller Crowd, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Clear understanding of and experience navigating 6–12 month sales cycles within a holding company environment
- Ability to operate with independent discretion and lead with confidence across a matrixed client organization
- Genuine desire to upskill rapidly across product, data science, and marketing science disciplines
- Collaborative, accountable, and highly motivated — leads through performance and relationship-building, not hierarchy
