Full job description

Responsible for month-end close, billing, and revenue recognition for clients within a business segment. Work cross-functionally to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Duties include processing billing orders, answering client and internal inquiries, maintaining SOX controls, reconciliations, journal entries, reporting, invoice processing and delivery, month-end reports, data feeds, special projects, and determining revenue recognition and deferrals. Requires BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, 2-3 years business experience, revenue recognition and financial analysis experience, strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and customer service skills. SAP and strong MS Excel skills preferred.

What you'll do

  • Process transactional billing orders
  • Answer inquiries from clients and internal groups
  • Billing
  • Maintaining SOX controls
  • Reconciliations, journal entries and reporting
  • Process invoices and manage delivery to client (email, overnight, etc)
  • Process month-end reports and monthly data feeds
  • Special projects as needed
  • Determining Revenue Recognition and related deferrals

Requirements

  • BA/BS or higher in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 2-3 years of business experience
  • Revenue recognition experience
  • Financial analysis experience
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and good organizational skills
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Strong MS Excel skills
