Full job description

Release Engineering Intern role in Tel Aviv office supporting software build, test and release systems. Work on CI/CD platform modernization and internal AI app-building platform. Support 600+ R&D engineers across Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python and Go. Requirements: pursuing B.Sc. in CS or related field, programming experience in Java, JavaScript or Python, Linux and git proficiency, basic CI/CD knowledge with tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, Bitbucket/GitHub, Bazel, Gradle or Maven, familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, troubleshooting and automation skills, experience with AI coding agents and LLM APIs. Responsibilities include improving CI/CD automation, migrating builds from Maven to Bazel, building reusable pipeline tools, analyzing CI/CD metrics, troubleshooting and automating fixes, and maintaining tests and documentation. What you'll do

  • Improve automation for continuous integration, testing, packaging and releases
  • Participate in build modernization efforts moving hundreds of modules from Maven to Bazel
  • Build reusable pipeline libraries, self-service and automation tools for engineers and coding agents
  • Use CI/CD metrics to identify slow builds, high-cost workflows and recurring bottlenecks and help fix them
  • Troubleshoot failures in builds, Jenkins agents, artifacts and containers, then automate fixes for recurring problems
  • Add tests, monitoring and documentation to keep release workflows dependable and easy to use

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field
  • Strong programming fundamentals and hands-on experience with at least one language such as Java, JavaScript or Python
  • Comfortable working in a Linux environment and using git
  • Basic understanding of software builds, automated testing and CI/CD, with familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Bitbucket/GitHub, Bazel, Gradle or Maven
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm or infrastructure/configuration automation
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and automate repetitive work
  • Experience using AI coding agents at scale for development work, exercising judgment, providing clear context and acceptance criteria, verifying output, protecting sensitive data and owning final contributions
  • Basic familiarity with LLM APIs, agent skills, plugins or tools integrations, plus understanding of context limits and token usage affecting quality, latency and cost
  • Passion for simplifying developer workflows, automating repetitive processes and solving challenging infrastructure problems at scale
