Full job description

OpenAI is hiring a Regional Manager, Ads Solutions (APAC) based in Singapore with a hybrid work model (3 days in office). This leadership role involves managing a distributed team of Client Partners and Customer Success Managers across APAC to drive revenue growth and build strategic advertiser relationships. Responsibilities include leading and developing teams, owning regional commercial performance, executing APAC commercial strategy, managing forecasting and pipeline, collaborating cross-functionally, and establishing scalable processes. Candidates should have 12+ years in digital advertising or related commercial leadership, 5+ years leading sales or customer success teams, experience in international markets, strong people leadership, strategic thinking, data-driven decision making, and passion for AI. Relocation assistance is offered to eligible candidates.

What you'll do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Client Partners and Customer Success Managers across APAC
  • Own regional revenue goals and business performance across multiple markets
  • Develop and execute the APAC commercial strategy to accelerate advertiser adoption, retention, and expansion
  • Partner with sales and customer success leaders to optimize customer engagement throughout the advertiser lifecycle
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key advertisers, agencies, and strategic partners
  • Drive forecasting, pipeline management, territory planning, and business reviews to ensure operational excellence and predictable growth
  • Serve as the voice of the APAC market by bringing advertiser insights and customer feedback to Product, Engineering, and leadership teams
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support product launches, market expansion initiatives, and strategic customer opportunities
  • Establish scalable processes, playbooks, and best practices to enable growth across diverse markets and customer segments
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain top talent while building leadership bench strength across the organization

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in digital advertising, media, technology, or related commercial leadership roles
  • 5+ years of experience leading high-performing sales, account management, customer success, or revenue teams
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and scaling businesses across multiple international markets
  • Experience managing distributed teams across APAC and understanding the nuances of operating across diverse cultures and business environments
  • Exceptional people leadership skills with ability to coach, develop, and inspire teams
  • Ability to build strong relationships with C-suite executives, agency leaders, and senior decision-makers
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with a bias toward execution and operational excellence
  • Highly data-driven and comfortable using analytics to inform business decisions, prioritize investments, and drive accountability
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-changing environments and build new businesses, processes, and teams from the ground up
  • Passion for AI and excitement about shaping how advertisers adopt transformative technologies responsibly at scale
