Full job description

Seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join Epsilon’s Data Practice Development Team focused on TotalSource Plus demographic and lifestyle products. Responsibilities include writing and testing Jira User Stories, performing data comparisons using ETL tools, SQL, Excel, Access, and Hadoop, researching data anomalies, collaborating with Development, Product Management, and Source Prep teams, monitoring data attributes, defining business rules, and communicating issues to stakeholders. Requires 1-3 years experience in technical data or marketing environment, BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience, experience with Hadoop/Databricks and ETL tools, strong organizational and communication skills, analytical mindset, and ability to work independently. Agile experience is a plus. Location: Westminster, Colorado, United States. Salary range: $63,600 - $118,000 annually. What you'll do

  • Write and test Jira User Stories related to TSP data enhancements for each release cycle
  • Perform data comparisons between different TSP releases using ETL tools, SQL, Excel, Access, and Hadoop
  • Research and report anomalies within the TSP data
  • Collaborate with Development Team on code improvements for data changes
  • Collaborate with Product Management Team on data and product strategy
  • Work with Source Prep Team processing data/transactions from Epsilon source data providers
  • Monitor and trend data attributes
  • Define and update data business rules
  • Communicate issues to stakeholders effectively and timely

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in a technical data or marketing environment
  • BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience leveraging Hadoop/Databricks and ETL tools in an enterprise environment
  • Detail oriented and highly observant
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Highly effective communicator for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Analytical and curious mindset with interest in interpreting data
  • Ability to produce results amid multiple shifting/competing priorities
  • Self-starter able to work independently
  • Agile experience (Kanban, Scrum) is a plus
