Full job description
Publisher Sales Manager, SMB role responsible for managing inbound inquiries and outbound prospecting to onboard ComScore 500 to 2000 level publishers. Requires 1+ years experience in sales including prospecting, selling, and closing complex products in Advertising, SaaS, or Technology. Key duties include building relationships with new publisher partners, working with Director to close deals, creating proposals and presentations, calculating revenue estimates, assisting operations with integrations and launches, and partnering with account managers for retention. Position is full-time, hybrid based in NYC. Benefits include health insurance, 401k, flexible PTO, bonuses, equity, and parental leave. Salary range $75,000-$85,000 base, $115,000-$128,000 OTE.
What you'll do
- Identify new publisher partners by building and growing outbound relationships
- Share expertise on new offerings and how to expand both ad revenue and audience engagement
- Work alongside the Director to meet with prospects and close business for long-term deals
- Build detailed proposals for clients using projection models in Microsoft Excel
- Create engaging presentations for in-person and video conference meetings to pitch prospects
- Quickly calculate “media math” on calls and in meetings to give prospects relevant and accurate revenue estimates
- Assist operations team in implementing processes, structuring integrations, and launching partners quickly and efficiently
- Partner with account managers to ensure the proper launch and retention of major partnerships
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1+ years work experience inclusive of prospecting, selling and closing in a similar role
- Track record of success selling complex products in Advertising, SaaS, Technology, or related field
- Ability to quickly absorb product information and relay value propositions to prospects and clients
