Full job description
Product Marketing Manager role in Mumbai for MiQ's India Commercial department. Responsibilities include identifying target audiences, refining personas, scripting sales narratives, building sales collateral, managing deadlines, facilitating internal communication, owning go-to-market release calendars, executing marketing campaigns, collaborating with global teams, delivering training and webinars, shaping thought leadership, and innovating storytelling. Requires 5+ years in programmatic/digital advertising, experience in product marketing within adtech, understanding of sales processes for managed service media businesses, excellent communication skills, creativity, detail orientation, and knowledge of Hubspot is a plus. What you'll do
- Identify valuable target audiences and refine target personas by product as needed
- Script and periodically refresh the MiQ sales narrative; determine product positioning and identify key market differentiators
- Build compelling sales collateral and act as the main stakeholder for all sales materials delivered to the sales team
- Manage deadlines and priorities to accomplish tasks on time and to a high quality
- Facilitate and improve internal product communication process and ensure alignment across sales, product and marketing departments
- Own the go-to-market product release calendar and ensure deliverables are executed in line with these timelines
- Organize stakeholders and multiple milestones to stay focused and contribute to projects
- Strategize and partner with the marketing team to execute external marketing activations and campaigns including advertising, blog posts, social media, events/webinars, email campaigns
- Collaborate with global product marketing teams to localize global product releases for India and manage delivery timelines
- Build relationships and work across differences to find solutions with internal stakeholders
- Deliver expert training sessions, demos and webinars for both internal and external audiences
- Shape thought leadership linked to MiQ product differentiators and industry developments
- Communicate clearly to external partners/clients or internal stakeholders, flexing communication style to persuade and influence positive outcomes
- Find new creative ways of storytelling and differentiating MiQ from competitors
- Develop a process for reporting on competitive industry intelligence
- Act with curiosity to find new and better ways of working and implement solutions to market requirements
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the programmatic/digital advertising space
- Understanding of agency and marketer needs
- Experience in product marketing, especially within adtech
- Intimate understanding of the sales process for a managed service media business, including selling to both media agencies and media teams at brands directly
- Excellent persuasive communicator in both written and verbal forms
- Creative thinker who can relate industry challenges to MiQ solutions and explain complex problems in simplified forms
- Proven ability to develop powerful external facing collateral
- Detail oriented, organized and willing to get hands-on with tasks when necessary to hit deadlines and solve problems
- Knowledge of Hubspot a plus
