Full job description

VideoAmp is hiring a mid-level Product Manager, Methodology to join the Product Methodology team. The role involves serving as an in-house methodology and analytical expert for product offerings such as Cross-Screen Content Viewership, Ad Measurement, Outcomes, and Lift. Responsibilities include collaborating with Machine Learning, Data Science, Client Success, and Product teams; defining product requirements and validation standards; developing analyses and reports; participating in client meetings and industry events; and improving product and process scalability and transparency. Candidates should have 3+ years experience with large-scale event-level datasets in Product, Analytics, or Data Science roles, experience with SQL and/or Python, familiarity with audience measurement methodologies, and strong communication skills. The position is full-time, hybrid, located in New York City or Los Angeles, with a salary range of $135,000 to $170,000 plus equity and benefits including PTO, health coverage, 401(k) matching, parental leave, and commuter benefits.

What you'll do

  • Serve as an in-house methodology and analytical expert for product offerings including Cross-Screen Content Viewership, Ad Measurement, Outcomes and Lift, and more
  • Collaborate with Machine Learning, Data Science, Client Success, and Product teams to ensure projects are delivered accurately and on time
  • Define clear product requirements and validation standards to ensure data accuracy and integrity across product offerings
  • Develop analyses and present Summary of Findings reports to support client inquiries, internal research projects, and product development
  • Participate in client meetings and industry events, including the Media Ratings Council, Client Advisory Committee, and Coalition for Innovative Media Measurement
  • Continuously improve both product and process, with an eye toward repeatability, scalability, and transparency

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working with large-scale event-level datasets in a Product, Analytics, or Data Science role
  • Experience working with SQL and/or Python
  • Familiarity with audience measurement methodologies
  • Experience presenting insights and recommendations to various stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate effectively with teams of varying levels of technical expertise
