Full job description

FreeWheel, a Comcast company, is hiring a Product Manager to work on cross-platform video advertising technology, focusing on machine learning-powered ad decision capabilities within the Streaming Hub platform. The role involves product strategy, feature ideation, market analysis, client engagement, and overseeing engineering teams using agile methodologies. Candidates should have 3-5 years of product management experience, preferably in digital advertising, a relevant undergraduate degree (MBA preferred), strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt quickly. The position is based in New York, NY, with up to 20% travel. Salary range is $125,204.74 to $187,807.12. Benefits include commission/bonus eligibility and comprehensive employee support programs.

What you'll do

  • Own end-to-end ideation, design, and delivery of features and technologies for cross-platform video advertising
  • Set product strategy and direction for hybrid and linear ad decisioning products
  • Identify new product opportunities through industry trends and market analysis
  • Understand core business problems and client requirements to invent efficient solutions
  • Oversee engineering team’s product development efforts using agile methodologies
  • Partner with product management, user experience, sales, marketing, advisory services, and client solutions
  • Build business cases for new products and features and prioritize based on team objectives
  • Define and measure quantifiable success metrics for owned products
  • Maintain awareness of advertising/media operations and television/content-providers landscape
  • Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Product Management or equivalent experience with successful history of delivering customer-oriented, complex solutions in a fast-moving environment, ideally in the digital advertising space
  • Computer science, math, or engineering undergraduate degree or equivalent; MBA or equivalent graduate degree strongly preferred
  • Experience across the product management lifecycle for enterprise products or services
  • Proven ability to quickly learn, understand, and expand complex products, processes, and concepts
  • Superior communication skills for addressing colleagues and customers; ability to present complicated concepts in a clear and concise manner to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience understanding and evaluating client requests, translating requests into detailed designs, and guiding engineering through implementation
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changes in the industry, development processes, and business priorities
  • Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Passionate about the role and industry
