Full job description

Tatari seeks a mid-level product designer with 2-5 years experience to design reporting and custom-measurement features from discovery through high-fidelity execution. The role requires strong data visualization skills, fluency in Figma, and collaboration with PMs and engineers. Responsibilities include user research, creating user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and contributing to the design system. Benefits include $120,000-$160,000 salary plus equity, health insurance, 401K, education benefits, unlimited PTO, and hybrid work with 2 days in office weekly. Location: New York, NY.

What you'll do

  • Take reporting and custom-measurement features from discovery through high-fidelity design
  • Translate measurement roadmap and detailed requirements into product solutions with PMs, engineers, and stakeholders
  • Conduct or assist with user interviews, usability tests, and other UX research methods during discovery
  • Create user flows, wireframes, low and high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes including interaction details like hover, focus, and keyboard states
  • Rationalize UX solutions with data, improve designs through user feedback, and question the status quo
  • Understand technical functionality and constraints and iterate to meaningful solutions
  • Contribute to the Tatari Design System, document complex systems, share knowledge, and help onboard peers

Requirements

  • 2-5 years designing digital products with a portfolio of shipped work
  • Genuine data-visualization skills to design accurate and easy-to-read charts, tables, or dashboards
  • Experience at a measurement, analytics, or data-heavy product company is ideal
  • Solid foundation in interface, interaction, and visual design with growing accessibility fluency
  • Fluency in Figma and prototyping
  • Experience with AI prototyping tools is a plus
  • Clear communication skills and embraces feedback and collaboration
  • UX/Product design portfolio or case studies (minimum of 2) demonstrating unique perspective and contribution to shipped products
  • Resume demonstrating relevant skills and expertise
