Full job description

Tatari is seeking a mid-level product designer with 2-5 years of experience and strong data visualization skills to design reporting and custom-measurement features. The role involves taking features from discovery through high-fidelity design, collaborating with PMs and engineers, conducting UX research, creating user flows and prototypes, and contributing to the design system. Candidates should have a portfolio of shipped work, fluency in Figma, and experience with data-heavy products. The position is full-time, hybrid with 2 days per week in office, located in San Francisco, CA. Compensation ranges from $120,000 to $160,000 plus equity. What you'll do

  • Take reporting and custom-measurement features from discovery through high-fidelity design
  • Translate measurement roadmap and detailed requirements into product solutions in partnership with PMs, engineers, and stakeholders
  • Run or assist with user interviews, usability tests, and other UX research methods
  • Create user flows, wireframes, low and high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes including interaction details like hover, focus, and keyboard states
  • Rationalize UX solutions with data and improve designs through user feedback
  • Understand technical functionality and constraints and iterate to meaningful solutions
  • Contribute to the Tatari Design System by documenting complex systems, sharing knowledge, and helping onboard peers

Requirements

  • 2-5 years designing digital products with a portfolio of shipped work
  • Genuine data-visualization skills to design accurate and easy-to-read charts, tables, or dashboards
  • Experience at a measurement, analytics, or data-heavy product company is ideal
  • Solid foundation in interface, interaction, and visual design with growing accessibility fluency
  • Fluency in Figma and prototyping
  • Experience with AI prototyping tools is a plus
  • Clear communication skills and embraces feedback and collaboration
  • UX/Product design portfolio or case studies (minimum of 2) demonstrating unique perspective and contribution to shipped products
  • Resume demonstrating the listed skills and expertise
