PubMatic seeks a Principal Software Engineer to lead design and development of scalable, low-latency, privacy-safe mobile app monetization systems. The role involves building backend services for SSP-DSP RTB workflows, mobile ad formats, traffic shaping, QPS optimization, and privacy-compliant attribution. Requires 5+ years backend engineering experience in mobile app advertising or related AdTech domains, strong knowledge of mobile inventory signals, ad formats, performance advertising, attribution ecosystems, privacy regulations, and fraud prevention. Responsibilities include architecting backend services, optimizing SSP-DSP integrations, improving mobile ad runtime handling, developing diagnostics, collaborating cross-functionally, and ensuring operational excellence.
