Full job description

Amazon Ads seeks a Principal Account Executive for the Entertainment Vertical with 10+ years of ad sales experience in the entertainment media industry. The role involves selling digital advertising solutions to movie studios and streaming partners, including premium Streaming TV media, Connected TV display media, High-Impact takeovers, and Programmatic DSP. Responsibilities include managing client relationships at senior levels, driving revenue growth, strategizing long-term partnerships, and collaborating with internal teams. The position requires expertise in digital advertising, strong client management skills, and experience working with C-level executives and product teams. Location: Santa Monica, California. Salary range: $160,900 to $217,600 annually, plus benefits.

What you'll do

  • Navigate undefined/ambiguous custom programs externally and internally
  • Educate and evangelize client needs to internal partner teams and stakeholders
  • Deliver high level of sales and customer service to entertainment brand and performance media clients
  • Grow revenue from existing advertisers
  • Prospect and grow new relationships and foster existing relationships with clients at all levels including EVP and above
  • Drive deals to closure independently
  • Strategize longer-term partnership growth beyond campaign-by-campaign deal-making
  • Understand Amazon's display, video, and audio advertising opportunities and tools to build relevant advertising solutions
  • Lead strategic discussions with entertainment client and agency leads
  • Align Amazon ads capabilities to upcoming releases
  • Pitch programs and opportunities to clients and agencies
  • Meet with senior external partners
  • Act as the client's voice internally, evangelizing their needs to internal partner teams and Amazon publisher groups
  • Craft executive presentations and negotiation investment frameworks
  • Partner with account managers and creative campaign managers to ensure client campaigns run smoothly and uncover learnings
  • Sell ideas and programs to entertainment clients and internal Amazon partner teams

Requirements

  • 10+ years of working with major movie studio media teams or major streaming advertisers
  • Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent
  • Experience working with engineering and product teams to define a product and bring it to market
