The role involves advising and assisting with domestic and multinational mergers and acquisitions, including substantial acquisitions. Responsibilities include transaction structuring, drafting and vetting transaction documents, negotiation, conducting legal due diligence, providing opinions on foreign direct investment and share transfer issues involving non-resident entities, advising on joint ventures including drafting and negotiation of documents, setting up joint venture companies, regulatory filings, and general corporate advisory and commercial contracting. Candidates must have 8-10 years of relevant M&A experience with large corporates, preferably in product companies, and be knowledgeable about current M&A legislation and industry best practices.
