Kevel is hiring a Platform Support & Operations Team Lead to build and lead a new team providing first-line engineering support for the internal platform. This full-time, remote role is open to candidates legally eligible to work in Hungary, Portugal, or Spain. Responsibilities include hiring and developing a team, defining support processes, managing incident response, establishing on-call practices, and collaborating with engineering squads to improve platform reliability. Candidates must have 5+ years in technical support, operations, SRE, or platform engineering with 2+ years in leadership, strong technical knowledge of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), Kubernetes, databases, and experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK). The role requires hands-on involvement in triage, incident management, and runbook development.
