Full job description

The People Operations Process Excellence Specialist will support the global People Operations function by improving processes through governance, documentation, data use, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include reviewing and enhancing People Operations processes, driving adoption of updated processes, maintaining knowledge bases, partnering on automation initiatives, supporting tooling improvements, maintaining operational data and reports, and analyzing data for trends and issues. The role requires 2-4 years experience in Operations, Project Management, or HR Operations, strong operational thinking, problem-solving, process design skills, comfort with data tools like Excel, and strong communication skills. The position is full-time, hybrid based in Barcelona, Spain, and requires fluency in English.

What you'll do

  • Review and improve People Operations processes for clarity, scalability, and consistency
  • Lead or co-lead process improvements with senior team members
  • Drive adoption of updated processes through documentation and guidance
  • Run quality checks to confirm adherence and surface issues
  • Maintain and co-own knowledge base structure and content
  • Partner with tool owners on automation initiatives
  • Translate operational needs into tooling or workflow requirements
  • Support delivery and testing of automation and AI-driven solutions
  • Support change management activities including training and communications
  • Maintain and improve operational datasets, dashboards, and reports
  • Analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Identify and coordinate resolution of data quality issues
  • Support alignment on data definitions and reporting standards

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in Operations, Project Management (focused on systems and processes), or HR Operations
  • Strong interest in processes, organization, and operational efficiency
  • Experience with documentation, process improvement, or program support
  • Comfortable working with data (Excel, basic reporting, dashboards)
  • Able to operate in environments where not everything is fully defined
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders
  • Structured, detail-oriented, proactive, with strong sense of ownership
  • Curious and solution-oriented with interest in tools, automation, and AI
  • Fluent in English
