Full job description

Verve is seeking a proactive and client-centric People Business Partner to join their team in a hybrid role based in London (Covent Garden). The role involves supporting talent management, employee relations, workforce planning, performance reviews, succession planning, people data analysis, diversity and inclusion initiatives, change management, and employee engagement. Candidates should have 4-6 years of HR experience, preferably in technology, media, or digital advertising, with strong business acumen, interpersonal skills, and knowledge of employment law in the UK or US. What you'll do

  • Support talent management activities, including employee development, performance management, and retention initiatives
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, providing support on employee relations matters and helping resolve workplace issues effectively
  • Collaborate with leaders on workforce planning and organizational design initiatives to support business growth and changing priorities
  • Support annual people processes, including performance reviews, compensation planning, and talent assessments
  • Contribute to succession planning discussions and help identify development opportunities for high-potential employees
  • Analyze people data and trends to provide insights that support decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and business outcomes
  • Support change management and organizational transformation efforts, helping leaders and employees navigate change successfully
  • Collaborate with cross-functional HR teams to ensure consistent delivery of HR programs, policies, and employee experiences
  • Help drive engagement initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of progressive HR experience, including experience in an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or similar role, ideally within the technology, media, or digital advertising industry
  • Experience partnering with managers and supporting teams in a fast-paced, growing organization
  • Solid understanding of talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development practices
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance employee needs and business priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to build credibility and effective working relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Experience interpreting people data and using insights to support decision-making
  • Working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices in either the UK or US, with exposure to both environments considered a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a practical and solutions-focused approach
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs
  • Passion for creating a positive employee experience and fostering an inclusive workplace culture
