Payroll Specialist

What you'll do

• Prepare and coordinate payroll processes ensuring smooth execution under Payroll Manager supervision
• Gather, verify, and consolidate payroll inputs (new hires, terminations, bonuses, salary adjustments, etc.)
• Collaborate with payroll providers to ensure timely submission of payroll data and assist in processing payroll across multiple countries
• Conduct preliminary payroll checks before submission to Payroll Manager for final validation
• Ensure payroll processes comply with local labor laws and company policies, escalating complex cases to Payroll Manager
• Act as first point of contact for payroll-related questions, providing clear explanations to employees
• Support initiatives to enhance payroll efficiency and contribute to automation projects

Requirements

• Degree in Human Resources and Payroll
• Significant experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multi-country environment
• Knowledge of payroll regulations in at least one of the covered countries
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with different payroll systems
• Fluent in English; additional languages (French, German, or others) are a plus
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Comfortable working independently while ensuring alignment with Payroll Manager

• Willingness to challenge existing processes for improvement
