Full job description
Paralegal role supporting Viant’s Chief Legal Officer and corporate legal needs. Responsibilities include corporate governance, Board and committee meeting preparation, managing corporate entities and securities law compliance, employment-based immigration case administration, assisting with SEC filings and public company reporting, corporate insurance program management, and supporting corporate transactions. Requires 5+ years paralegal experience in-house, preferably in a public technology company, with strong knowledge of corporate governance, SEC reporting, and immigration case management. Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate required. Benefits include fully paid health insurance, paid parental leave, and unlimited PTO. Base salary range $90,000-105,000. Location: Irvine, California.

Assist with corporate insurance program management and credit facility compliance
Partner with the Legal Operations Manager to support corporate transactions, including diligence requests, closing checklists, and signature and closing logistics
Requirements
5+ years of paralegal experience supporting in-house legal departments, preferably within a public technology company
Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program
Prior experience at a top-tier national law firm supporting sophisticated corporate, securities, or M&A matters is strongly preferred
Hands-on experience owning employment-based immigration case administration in partnership with outside counsel, including H-1B, TN, L-1, O-1, PERM, and permanent residency matters
Strong knowledge of corporate governance, entity management, and public company compliance
Experience supporting SEC reporting, public company compliance, and Board governance activities preferred
Experience with employee equity plans and corporate insurance programs
Exceptional organizational, project management, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadline-driven matters simultaneously
High degree of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential and sensitive information
Experience working with stakeholders at all levels and functions in a fast-paced environment
Active California Notary Public commission, or willingness to obtain one, is a plus
