Basis Technologies seeks a Payroll and Office Operations Specialist in Irving, Texas. The role involves managing US payroll tax compliance across multiple states, including filings, registrations, notices, and audits. Responsibilities include office operations such as onboarding, building access, vendor coordination, event support, and light IT support. Requires knowledge of US payroll tax compliance, experience in small or scaling office environments, and strong organizational skills. Hybrid work schedule with some remote hours and on-site days. Experience with HiBob or similar HR/payroll platforms and employee benefits administration is desirable.
What you'll do
- Manage federal, state and local payroll tax compliance across multiple states
- Prepare and submit quarterly and annual payroll tax filings
- Register and maintain payroll tax accounts as company grows into new states
