Appodeal is seeking a Monetization Lead to own ad monetization strategy and execution for its casual mobile gaming portfolio (WordMaker, Solitaire, Brick Blast). This hands-on role requires defining monetization strategy focused on eProfit outcomes, managing waterfall structures, floor pricing, and placements. Responsibilities include running high-velocity A/B testing, translating results into actions, managing relationships with ad networks and DSPs, negotiating terms, and representing the company in partner discussions. The role operates without a dedicated analytics headcount, leveraging a shared intelligence layer for data and LTV models. The Monetization Lead acts as a Product Owner for monetization, collaborating cross-functionally with Ad Tech, Analytics, Product, and UA teams to ensure decisions optimize full eProfit. The position involves building and leading a lean, high-talent team, setting high standards for ownership and rigor, and fostering a culture of direct responsibility. Requirements include proven experience leading monetization in casual ad-monetized mobile games, expertise in experimentation and waterfall optimization, strong industry relationships, experience with mediation platforms (AppLovin MAX, LevelPlay, Topon), familiarity with analytics tools (Firebase, GameAnalytics, Amplitude, AppsFlyer), and experience negotiating commercial terms.
