Full job description
Mobile QA Engineer role at Taboola in Beijing. Requires Bachelor's in computer science or related field and 1+ years experience in APK/API testing using tools like Monkey, ADB, Postman, and Charles. Must have device flashing experience, mobile device performance testing skills, and proficiency in test case development, execution, analysis, and bug reporting. Experience with JS, Python, and SQL for configuration development is required. Responsibilities include testing APKs/APIs for accuracy and reliability, driving test plans, collaborating with stakeholders, performing configuration tasks per OEM requirements, and continuous learning. What you'll do
- Perform thorough testing of APKs/APIs to ensure data accuracy, response times, and overall function reliability
- Drive test plans, design test cases, execute tests, and report on bugs and errors
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve test assets, processes, and methodologies
- Perform basic configuration tasks according to OEM requirements
- Proactively learn new tools, technologies, and environments to tackle challenges
- Ensure delivery of expected quality and performance levels to OEMs
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in APK/API testing, including mobile APK testing with tools like Monkey and ADB, and RESTful API testing with tools like Postman and Charles
- Device flashing experience and ability to perform mobile device performance testing
- Proficiency in developing test cases, executing tests, analyzing results, and submitting accurate bug reports
- Experience with configuration development using JS/Python/SQL technologies
