Full job description

Role: Trader, China International. Location: China (flexible). Responsibilities include managing and optimizing programmatic campaigns across global regions, ensuring campaign performance and client success, portfolio management, collaboration with internal teams, external client communication, and innovation in campaign strategies. Requirements: minimum 1 year experience in programmatic campaign trading, proficiency with DSP platforms such as DV360, TTD, Xandr, Yahoo, Amazon, or Beeswax, strong analytical and communication skills, fluent in English and Mandarin, ability to work with large datasets and BI tools, knowledge of SQL, R, Python or Bonsai is a plus. The role demands attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset.

What you'll do

  • Deliver excellent campaign performance across diverse accounts in all major MiQ regions
  • End to end campaign ownership and performance monitoring
  • Use data to enhance buying decisions to exceed client KPIs and profit objectives
  • Use insights to build client rapport and up-sell
  • Deliver on-target margin while retaining and growing client spends
  • Balance portfolio growth with margin/profitability objectives
  • Grow campaign portfolio revenue by surpassing client KPIs and supporting custom insights
  • Use data, analysis, and trading expertise to deliver campaigns ahead of pace
  • Collaborate with AM team in China and DnA team in Bangalore on insights planning and production
  • Work with central and local departments to uphold campaign processes, support pre-campaign qualification, adhere to best practices, and troubleshoot issues
  • Attend external meetings and deliver insights and Q&A
  • Own weekly client reporting and collaborate face-to-face
  • Test and implement innovative ideas in campaigns
  • Maintain and evolve MiQ trading and operational processes and best practices

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 years of experience with hands-on trading digital programmatic campaigns
  • Proven track record of optimising programmatic campaigns in at least one of DV360, TTD, Xandr, Yahoo, Amazon or Beeswax DSP
  • Good understanding of the programmatic ecosystem in NA, EMEA and APAC
  • Experience working in client-facing environment is an advantage
  • Experience with Mobile Performance campaigns is a bonus
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Fluent English and Mandarin
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving mentality
  • Ability to work with large datasets in Excel and BI internal tools
  • Working knowledge of statistical models is an advantage
  • Understanding of SQL, R, Python or Bonsai is an advantage
  • Strong troubleshooting ability and systematic problem solving
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
