FreeWheel, a Comcast company, is seeking a Senior Manager, Software Engineering for the Buyercloud Ad Serving team. The role involves managing a team of software engineers, collaborating with product management, guiding technical architecture and engineering practices, improving ad serving software infrastructure, ensuring project deadlines and quality, providing technical support and training, and implementing performance metrics. Candidates should have 3+ years of technical leadership experience, 10+ years of software development experience, proficiency in object-oriented languages (C++, Java, Rust, Go), experience with public cloud deployment, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). The position requires working with remote teams across time zones and occasional nights/weekends. A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field is preferred.
