Full job description

The Publisher Partnerships Manager is responsible for protecting and growing revenue for Kargo's premium publisher relationships. This hybrid role requires onsite presence 4 days per week in New York, NY. Key responsibilities include managing portfolio health, monitoring performance data, maintaining strong publisher retention, delivering quarterly business reviews, resolving technical supply-side issues, and supporting new publisher onboarding. Required skills include 3-4 years experience in a publisher-facing role at an SSP, DSP, or ad tech platform, fluency in programmatic fundamentals, hands-on experience with header bidding, VAST, OpenRTB, or Amazon TAM, proficiency in Excel for performance analysis, and strong communication skills. Preferred qualifications include an existing book of publisher contacts and experience onboarding new supply partners. Salary range is $70,000 to $80,000 USD.

What you'll do

  • Manage day-to-day health of a portfolio of premium digital media partners
  • Monitor performance data consistently and proactively address revenue trends
  • Maintain strong publisher retention and resolve escalations quickly
  • Prepare and present quarterly business reviews with competitive insights and recommendations
  • Resolve supply-side technical issues such as header bidding, integration bugs, and reporting discrepancies
  • Support onboarding of new publishers to accelerate time-to-revenue
  • Work collaboratively across internal teams including ops, product, and sales

Requirements

  • 3–4 years in a publisher-facing role at an SSP, DSP, or ad tech platform
  • Fluency in programmatic fundamentals including supply/demand dynamics across mobile, video, and CTV
  • Hands-on experience with header bidding, VAST, OpenRTB integrations, and/or Amazon TAM
  • Proficiency in Excel for performance analysis including pivot tables, lookups, and functions
  • Ability to generate, interpret, and present reporting with actionable insights for publisher partners
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable leading calls, QBRs, and presentations independently
  • Preferred: Existing book of publisher relationships and contacts
  • Preferred: Experience onboarding new publisher supply partners from contract through technical integration
