Full job description

Integral Ad Science seeks a Manager, Payroll reporting to the Controller with global responsibility across North America, EMEA, and APAC. Responsibilities include managing payroll workload, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing, preparing payroll documents and reports, managing statutory compliance, payroll reconciliations, policy review, audit support, and interpreting payroll legislation. Requirements include 7+ years payroll experience, knowledge of accounting principles, global payroll experience (EMEA and APAC), US payroll laws, financial acumen, proficiency in payroll and accounting software, bachelor's degree or equivalent, and Certified Payroll Professional designation preferred. Benefits include paid time off, health insurance, PPO, HSA, FSA options, 401k with matching, competitive compensation, and eligibility for bonuses. Location is New York, NY with hybrid work option. Salary range is $88,900 to $152,400 annually.

What you'll do

  • Manage payroll workload to meet operational requirements
  • Ensure payroll is processed in an accurate, compliant and timely manner
  • Direct the preparation of payroll related documents
  • Manage compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements
  • Prepare relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports
  • Monitor the accurate processing of employee transfers, promotions and terminations
  • Prepare and review payroll account reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate account balances
  • Review and improve payroll policies and procedures
  • Ensure that all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements
  • Support all internal and external audits related to payroll
  • Interpret new legislation impacting payroll and drive change and compliance where needed
  • Manage and resolve issues relating to payroll production

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a payroll professional, preferably in both private and public company environments
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • In-depth knowledge of and experience with payroll calculation and processing
  • Global payroll experience, particularly EMEA and APAC
  • Knowledge of applicable US local, state and federal rules and laws
  • Solid financial acumen
  • Proficiency in payroll and accounting software
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Certified Payroll Professional designation preferred
