The Trade Desk seeks a Manager, IT Systems to oversee global corporate IT collaboration platforms. The role involves managing a team of 3-6 engineers and administrators, setting priorities aligned with company goals, and ensuring the success of collaboration systems including Microsoft 365 Suite, Fabric, Copilot, Power Platform, Exchange, SharePoint/OneDrive, Slack Enterprise Grid, Zoom, and Smartsheet. Responsibilities include monitoring technology trends, driving Zoom Rooms enhancements, supporting Copilot adoption, collaborating with IT teams and vendors, operationalizing Level 1 administration services, leading technical projects, participating in security incident response, and maintaining documentation and technical support. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a related field, 8-10+ years of relevant experience, proficiency with Microsoft PowerShell, experience managing teams, and strong communication and customer service skills. Availability to work regular hours plus after hours, weekends, and holidays is required. What you'll do
- Manage and mentor a team of 3-6 engineers and administrators
- Set priorities aligned with company goals
- Oversee success and roadmap of global collaboration systems including Microsoft 365 Suite, Fabric, Copilot, Power Platform, Exchange, SharePoint/OneDrive, Slack Enterprise Grid, Zoom, and Smartsheet
- Monitor and analyze emerging industry technology trends
- Apply product management focus to maximize value from collaboration stack aligned with customer needs
- Establish best practices through knowledge base articles and video training
- Drive Zoom Rooms enhancements and R&D for new meeting-room offerings
- Collaborate with IT Infrastructure and Site Build teams to define site standards
- Support adoption and use of Copilot and Copilot Studio with Business Engineering
- Work with client-facing teams to understand collaboration requirements and establish workflow standards with security and privacy considerations
- Collaborate with IT Systems management on shared components across Microsoft 365, Azure, identity, and automation systems
- Maintain communication and professional relations with vendors and suppliers
- Leverage Operations team for Level 1 administration services by operationalizing processes, driving automation, creating documentation, delivering training, and providing technical guidance
- Participate in TechSolutions process for developing customer solutions leveraging IT collaboration systems
- Serve as technical project lead for global collaboration initiatives
- Participate in security incident response and adhere to cybersecurity standards
- Apply best practices to projects, implementations, and issue resolution; provide status updates and reports
- Create and maintain documentation for IT standards, procedures, and knowledge base articles
- Maintain high-quality technical support to ensure productivity for management and employees
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related business or IT field
- 8 to 10+ years of experience managing and working with collaboration tool stacks similar to TTD’s
- Experience with Microsoft PowerShell or equivalent scripting for systems management
- Experience defining, documenting, and implementing standards
- Experience managing and mentoring 3-6 local and remote direct reports including performance management
- Prior experience with ITIL framework in a SOX regulated environment highly desired
- Proficiency with MS Office software
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Strong customer service and presentation skills
- Ability to analyze customer needs and reach acceptable solutions
- Adherence to company procedures and policies
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and systems
