The Manager, Event Marketing will support PubMatic’s marketing activities and execute Americas-based event programs including conferences, trade shows, meetings, webinars, sponsorships, and strategic programs. Responsibilities include producing events, managing client entertaining events in New York, researching venues and vendors, managing contracts, event calendars, and invoices, supporting event logistics and marketing strategy, monitoring budgets and expenses, tracking event KPIs, collaborating with sales and marketing teams, analyzing feedback, supporting sponsorship logistics, maintaining vendor relationships, promoting events, and assisting with ad hoc event tasks. Requirements include 3-5 years of event marketing or related experience, strong project management, communication, and stakeholder skills, budget and vendor management experience, analytical skills for measuring ROI, familiarity with Salesforce, Splash, Zoom Webinar, Canva, marketing automation tools, and willingness to work evenings and travel. The role is full-time with a hybrid work schedule based in New York. What you'll do
- Work with the Events team to produce a wide range of events including conferences, client entertaining, webinars, and both in-person and virtual client events
- Own New York based client entertaining events from concept through execution and post-event reporting
- Research industry events, venues, and vendors; negotiate and obtain quotes; stay current on emerging event, marketing, and experiential trends
- Manage the contracting process internally with finance and legal teams
- Manage event calendars, schedule external meetings, process invoices
- Support event marketing strategy and logistics including timelines, venue selection, catering, photography, décor, lighting and sound, talent, transportation, marketing materials, set-up and run-of-show, contracts and billing
- Monitor spending against budget forecasts, track event expenses and submit feedback/reporting to Finance team in real time
- Assist in tracking and reporting on event KPIs including attendance, engagement, pipeline influence, and ROI
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to measure event performance and recommend optimizations
- Analyze attendee feedback and post-event metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Support logistics regarding event sponsorships and other industry initiatives
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, venues and partners
- Promote events via digital, print and social media channels
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop invitation lists and follow-up plans
- Liaise across teams to ensure alignment among stakeholders throughout planning and execution
- Work with marketing team to create event marketing collateral, campaigns, social promotions and design
- Assist with additional ad hoc tasks related to event planning, logistics, and team support
Requirements
- 3–5 years of event marketing, field marketing, event management, or related experience
- Curiosity about culture and trends
- Proven experience managing events from strategy and planning through execution and measurement
- Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, contracts, and event operations
- Analytical mindset with experience measuring performance, evaluating ROI, and translating insights into action
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Splash, Zoom Webinar, Canva, and marketing automation tools
- Willingness to work evenings and travel as required
