StackAdapt is hiring a Manager, Ad Operations to lead a team responsible for campaign setup, QA, troubleshooting, pacing, and optimization across programmatic channels. The role involves coaching the team, improving workflows, and partnering cross-functionally to build scalable processes. Candidates should have 6+ years in programmatic advertising or related fields, direct people management experience, and strong technical knowledge of programmatic ecosystems including DSP workflows and campaign optimization. The position is remote-first, prioritizing candidates in Canada, especially Toronto or Eastern Time Zone. Salary range for Ontario candidates is $127,059 to $151,000 CAD base. What you'll do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Ad Operations Specialists fostering accountability, curiosity, and continuous learning
- Oversee campaign setup, trafficking, QA, troubleshooting, pacing, and delivery across programmatic channels
- Support team evolution toward automated and optimization-focused operating model
- Coach specialists on campaign optimization including pacing analysis, performance troubleshooting, and actionable recommendations
- Partner with Account Management, Account Executives, Client Partnerships, Product, and Engineering to improve workflows, handoffs, tooling, and campaign outcomes
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes through automation, templates, SOPs, and scalable operating practices
- Track team performance, workload, quality, and operational metrics to identify gaps and share recommendations with leadership
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in programmatic advertising, campaign management, ad operations, or related digital media function
- Direct people management experience leading a team responsible for campaign execution, optimization, trading, or technical campaign support
- Hands-on experience optimizing or trading programmatic campaigns including pacing, performance analysis, troubleshooting, and recommendation-building
- Strong technical understanding of the programmatic ecosystem including DSP workflows, campaign setup, bidding dynamics, pixels, QA, and optimization best practices
- Ability to identify process improvements and implement scalable solutions
- High-curiosity mindset with interest in automation, systems, operational efficiency, and evolution of programmatic advertising
- Strong communication skills, accountability, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners
