Full job description

RTB House seeks a Senior ML Researcher with 4+ years experience in Machine Learning/Data Science to design and implement deep neural network models predicting user behavior and preferences. Responsibilities include analyzing ML research, conducting A/B tests, developing new modeling approaches for bidding in first-price auctions, experimenting with transfer learning, and innovating recommendation systems. Required skills: proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, PyTorch, NumPy, Pandas, Jupyter Notebooks, knowledge of statistics and probability, and programming skills. Advantages include experience in ML industry and recommendation systems. The role offers flexible, fully remote or office-based work in Warsaw or Cracow, cooperation on B2B or Contract of Mandate basis, access to latest technologies, and opportunities to publish results.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement models, mostly deep neural networks, to predict behavior and preferences of Internet users
  • Analyze latest works in the field of Machine Learning
  • Conduct and analyze A/B tests of new solutions
  • Develop and test new approaches to modeling key issues such as bidding in first-price auctions
  • Implement and analyze new model architectures such as convolutional networks and transformers
  • Analyze differences in distribution of training and production data, estimate scale of problems, identify best solutions, implement and deploy
  • Experiment with transfer learning
  • Develop new approaches to generating product recommendations using contrastive loss function

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Machine Learning / Data Science
  • Interest and willingness to constantly develop in the area of Machine Learning
  • Knowledge of statistics and probability
  • Proficiency in programming
  • Experience in the ML industry (advantage)
  • Experience in designing recommendation systems (advantage)
  • Practical knowledge of the tools used (advantage)
