Full job description

Smadex, a leading ad-tech company in Barcelona, is seeking Machine Learning Interns to learn advanced ad-tech technologies and contribute to the growth of the largest mobile programmatic advertising platform in Europe. Requirements include experience with Python, SQL, data warehousing, algorithm development, cloud datasets, and preferably deep learning libraries. Candidates must be problem-solving oriented, proactive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, able to multi-task, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be fluent in English. Legal work permit for Spain is required; no visa sponsorship provided. Benefits include hybrid work (2 days from home), flexible hours, training opportunities, gym allowance, social events, and exposure to global app publishers.

What you'll do

  • Learn advanced technologies used in the ad-tech industry
  • Contribute to becoming the biggest mobile programmatic advertising platform in the world

Requirements

  • Experience in Python, SQL and data warehousing
  • Experience developing algorithms and managing datasets preferably from the cloud
  • Hands-on experience using deep learning libraries is nice to have
  • Problem solving oriented mentality and a very proactive approach
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and sense of accountability
  • Detail-oriented, well organized, and able to multi-task in a results-oriented business environment
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • No visa sponsorship; legal permit to work in Spain required
