Liftoff is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for the Revenue Engine team. The role involves building statistical models and production systems to optimize advertiser performance and business goals, tuning optimization parameters, running experiments, and developing applications related to budget retention, margin allocation, and bidding. Candidates must have a PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Economics, or related field, with industry experience applying economics or machine learning to large scale problems, strong coding skills, and excellent communication. Experience in ad tech is a plus. The position is full-time, remote-first with a preference for California-based candidates. Compensation includes base salary ranging from $215,000 to $275,000 depending on location, equity, and health/vision/dental benefits.
