Full job description

Smadex, a leading ad-tech company in Barcelona, seeks a mid-level full-time Data Scientist with 3-5 years experience. The role involves maximizing advertiser ROI by selecting ads and computing optimal bids in a real-time bidding environment, developing machine learning models to predict user response and auction prices, and executing end-to-end ML projects. Candidates must have strong statistical knowledge, machine learning and predictive modeling experience, programming skills in Python (including pytorch, pandas, numpy), SQL, and Git, and excellent English communication skills. Extra points for experience with Apache Spark, Java/Scala, transformer architectures, LLMs, digital marketing platforms, and AWS services (SageMaker, EMR, EC2, Athena, S3). The position is hybrid with 2 days remote work per week, based in a penthouse office in Barcelona.
