Full job description

Legal Counsel LATAM role responsible for commercial legal support across 12 LATAM territories. Duties include reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts; advising internal teams on legal matters; supporting post-acquisition integration; monitoring regulatory compliance; managing external counsel; and building scalable legal processes. Requires law degree with 4-7 years experience in transactional, corporate or technology law, strong contract negotiation skills, advanced English, autonomy, and familiarity with LATAM data privacy regulations.

What you'll do

  • Review, draft and negotiate commercial contracts with clients (agencies, brands, publishers), technology vendors, data providers and strategic partners across LATAM
  • Provide legal support for operations in 12 territories across LATAM, with sound judgment on when to escalate
  • Advise sales, operations and product teams on day-to-day legal matters: service agreements, SAASs, NDAs, data processing agreements
  • Support the post-acquisition integration of Adsmovil and Rocketlab: contract harmonization, internal policies and governance frameworks
  • Monitor regulatory changes relevant to the AdTech business across the region: data privacy, digital advertising, consumer protection
  • Manage relationships with external counsel when specialized local expertise is required
  • Contribute to building the LATAM legal function: processes, templates, playbooks and best practices

Requirements

  • Law degree with 4 to 7 years of experience in transactional law, corporate law or technology, ideally marketing/media agencies, in-house or at a firm with tech/media clients
  • Solid experience reviewing and negotiating complex commercial contracts
  • Advanced English (written and spoken)
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize in high-demand environments and communicate clearly to non-legal audiences
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations in LATAM (Habeas Data in Colombia is a plus)
  • Experience in AdTech, digital media, SaaS or technology platforms (nice to have)
  • Experience working with international clients or in multinational corporate structures (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of digital advertising regulatory frameworks (IAB, GDPR as reference, CCPA) (nice to have)
  • Conversational Portuguese (valued but not required)
