Full job description

The Data Product Development Team is seeking a senior Java Full Stack developer with 7-8 years experience to design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud applications using Java Full Stack, Spring Boot, Grails, AWS, and Terraform. Responsibilities include building and maintaining server-side microservices, developing REST APIs and UI components, deploying applications on AWS, ensuring security and scalability, automating CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Bitbucket, resolving vulnerabilities, participating in code reviews, collaborating with teams for deployments and troubleshooting, guiding QA engineers, and maintaining documentation. Candidates must have a BE/B.Tech/MCA degree (no correspondence), strong Java and JavaScript skills, knowledge of relational databases and SQL, and experience with AWS and Terraform. Experience with Ansible, Jenkins, and Bitbucket is a plus. The role offers opportunities to work with advanced AWS services, metadata-driven UIs, and microservice architectures in a collaborative and flexible environment.

What you'll do

  • Develop and support complex, highly integrated software systems in an agile/iterative environment
  • Build and maintain server-side Spring Boot microservices in Java/Groovy
  • Develop Java/Groovy/Grails server-side applications and REST APIs
  • Develop UI components in JavaScript/ExtJS/NodeJS
  • Design, deploy, and maintain applications on AWS
  • Ensure application security, scalability, and high availability in cloud environments
  • Set up Jenkins and Bitbucket pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment
  • Identify and resolve vulnerabilities
  • Participate in code reviews and enforce best coding and design practices
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and IT teams for deployments and troubleshooting
  • Provide guidance to QA Engineers during system testing and bug fixes
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on release components and features
  • Meet aggressive deadlines and handle multiple complex projects
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate off-hour events, maintenance, and rollouts

Requirements

  • BE / B.Tech / MCA – No correspondence course
  • 7-8 years of experience
  • Strong experience with Java Full Stack, Spring, Grails, AWS and Terraform
  • 5+ years experience with Java
  • 5+ years experience with JavaScript
  • Knowledge of relational databases and ability to write SQL
  • Good to have experience with Ansible, Jenkins and Bitbucket
  • At least 2+ years experience working on AWS and Terraform
