Raptive seeks a Lead Security Engineer to lead and build security engineering capabilities with end-to-end ownership of application, platform, and infrastructure security. Responsibilities include establishing security strategy, architecture, policies, risk management, and roadmap; collaborating with SRE and engineering teams to implement secure cloud and infrastructure foundations; improving application security through threat modeling, reviews, and remediation; leading security assurance and compliance activities including SOC 2; coaching teams on security decisions; communicating security risks and progress to executives; ensuring unified security controls; driving security integration into the SDLC; and maturing vulnerability management practices. Candidates must have 5-10 years of experience owning security programs, broad security expertise across multiple domains, strong technical judgment, ability to work in dynamic environments, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative player/coach leadership style. The role offers a $150,000-$200,000 base salary, additional incentives, and hybrid remote work options based in New York City.
