Full job description

Lead Product Designer role at Smartly to drive innovation in digital advertising. Responsibilities include shaping product experience, designing intuitive features, customer interaction, cross-functional collaboration, and mentoring junior designers. Requires 8+ years in product design with leadership experience, passion for product discovery, and beneficial experience in Marketing Tech or AdTech. What you'll do

  • Shape product experience by identifying high-impact opportunities and clarifying complex problems
  • Design intuitive products and features that deliver early value
  • Interact directly with customers for discovery, validation, and testing
  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, Researchers, and leadership
  • Deliver great end-to-end user experience
  • Mentor and coach junior designers

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in product design
  • Experience leading the design process end-to-end
  • Passion for product discovery process including UX research and customer interviews
  • Experience in Marketing Tech or AdTech domains is beneficial
  • Energetic and team-spirited with appetite for growth
  • Previous experience in front-end development or vibe coding is beneficial
  • Ability and willingness to work from Helsinki office at least three days per week
