Full job description

Lead Oracle DBA role requiring 8+ years experience in database implementation and administration. Responsibilities include full lifecycle support of client databases using RAC and non-RAC for OLTP and warehouse, Active DataGuard for disaster recovery, partitioning on Oracle 12c and 19c in on-premises and cloud environments. Duties include database backups, design, development, testing, performance tuning, collaboration with developers for new structures, promoting database changes across environments, applying quarterly patches and upgrades with minimal downtime, 24x7 on-call support, and automation of repeated tasks. Required skills include strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, PL/SQL, shell scripting, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), Automatic Storage Management, performance troubleshooting tools (AWR, ASH, ADDM, TKPROF, SQLT, 10046 tracing, OSWatcher, CHM), Oracle Exadata, backup and recovery tools (RMAN, EXPDP, IMPDP), Oracle DataGuard configuration and support, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and good communication skills. Oracle and Cloud certifications are a plus.
