Kargo is seeking a senior data engineering leader to own and improve large-scale data systems supporting a unified advertising platform across CTV, web, mobile apps, and social. Responsibilities include owning business-metric reporting, data sharing, event log processing pipelines, observability and alerting, and leading data engineers. The role requires deep expertise in Spark, Python, Airflow, Iceberg, AWS, Kubernetes, and experience with data migration and streaming technologies such as Kafka or Redpanda. Strong leadership skills and ability to engage with business stakeholders on metric definitions are essential. Preferred experience includes adtech measurement, attribution, and CI/CD with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD. The position is full-time based in New York, NY with a salary range of $200,000 to $230,000 USD plus variable compensation.
