Full job description

Responsible for planning, designing, and developing new software and web applications. Analyze, test, and assist with integration of new applications. Oversee documentation and train non-technical personnel. Track performance metrics and provide guidance to engineers. Lead teams or projects. Construct and optimize ad delivery infrastructure for high concurrency, availability, and low latency. Continuously optimize existing systems. Manage end-to-end software development and updates. Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements. Write and maintain technical documentation. Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers. Design and implement solutions using AWS, Kubernetes, and containerization. Develop scalable, reliable AWS infrastructure. Deploy and manage containerized applications. Implement security best practices. Optimize application performance and availability. Support business operations and resolve technical issues. Stay current with AWS, Kubernetes, and container technologies. Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues. Identify automation and optimization opportunities. Partner with global teams. Requirements include strong knowledge of cloud and container technologies, distributed architecture, Linux/Unix, C++ or Golang, network programming, large system software design, problem solving, SDLC, Agile, and teamwork skills. Bachelor's degree required. 7-10 years of relevant experience preferred.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements
  • Research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Apply engineering methodologies and process design skills
  • Design, architect, and implement solutions using AWS, Kubernetes, and containerization
  • Develop and manage scalable and reliable AWS infrastructure
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications
  • Implement security best practices for AWS and container environments
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and availability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirements and technical design
  • Document and maintain software functionality
  • Support overall business and solve technical issues
  • Stay updated with latest AWS, Kubernetes, and container technologies
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues
  • Identify and implement automation and optimization opportunities
  • Partner with global engineering, product, and operations teams
  • Mentor junior software engineers

Requirements

  • In-depth understanding of cloud, containerization and related technologies
  • Familiarity with distributed architecture and middleware such as cache, message queue, Nginx
  • Experience in large-scale online service design, development, and operation preferred
  • Good understanding of Linux/Unix
  • Excellent data structure and algorithm foundation
  • Proficiency in C/C++ or Golang and network programming
  • Experience with large system software design and development
  • Experience with distributed and mission-critical systems preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in problem solving and technical innovation
  • Strong passion for learning and practicing new techniques
  • Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Software Engineering Methodology
  • Team working and good communication skills
  • Willingness to work under pressure
  • Strong ability and persistence in technical support
  • Ability to work closely with global teams and accept additional working hours
  • Advertising industry experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree or above
