StackAdapt is hiring a BI Lead for their Advertising Technologies Team. The role involves leading design and execution of automated and scalable reporting, insights, and analytics infrastructure. Responsibilities include building data pipelines, ETL workflows, dashboards, monitoring business metrics, performing deep-dive analysis, and collaborating cross-functionally. Requires 4+ years experience in BI/data/analytics, proficiency in SQL, Python or PySpark, experience with data visualization tools, strong communication skills, and familiarity with programmatic advertising platforms. The position is remote within Canada. Salary range for Ontario candidates is $114,400 to $136,000 CAD base. What you'll do
- Design and implementation of automated, scalable reporting infrastructure and analytics solutions
- Design and build data pipelines, ETL workflows and dashboards collaborating with other analysts
- Continuously monitor, report and review business metrics and supply quality with internal stakeholders
- Translate data into actionable prescriptive insights and recommendations
- Initiate, execute and fully own projects from planning to execution collaborating with BI team members
- Perform deep-dive analysis to understand trends, anomalies, and provide actionable recommendations
- Independently build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders including Director/VP+ level
- Partner closely with Inventory & Data Partnerships, Product Solutions, Platform Quality Teams, and work cross-functionally on data analysis
- Leverage AI/LLM tools (Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT) to accelerate analysis, automate repetitive tasks, and draft documentation
Requirements
- Experience scripting with SQL and/or Python or PySpark, extracting large sets of data and designing ETL flows
- Prior experience working in Business intelligence/Data/Analytics teams and/or platforms building predictive data & analytics solutions
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., finance, economics, statistics, math)
- Minimum 4+ years of working experience in a quantitative or analytics-driven environment with solid understanding of statistical techniques
- Experience with data visualization tools (ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Qlik, Looker, etc)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortable presenting detailed technical and statistical analyses to senior stakeholders
- Ability to write effective prompts, critically evaluate AI-generated output, and integrate AI tools into day-to-day workflows
- Programmatic Advertising experience/expertise in working with RTB, DSPs, SSPs, publishers or other related platforms preferred
