Full job description
Lead Analyst role supporting analytics and measurement in Merkle’s health vertical. Responsibilities include campaign performance analysis, data validation, dashboard creation, KPI framework support, and measurement initiatives. Requires strong SQL, dashboarding (Tableau, Power BI), and data analysis skills. Experience with automation and AI-driven tools preferred. Must communicate insights clearly to stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally. 4-7+ years in marketing analytics or related field required. Preferred background in healthcare analytics, Python, and Snowflake. Salary range $78,000-$112,455. What you'll do
- Analyze campaign performance across email, CRM, and web channels
- Build and maintain dashboards for actionable insights
- Support and refine KPI frameworks and performance summaries
- Apply analytical techniques like segmentation and trend analysis
- Support data onboarding, validation, and integration
- Validate data outputs and ensure data quality
- Contribute to measurement initiatives such as attribution and cross-channel analysis
- Identify opportunities to improve measurement and reporting through automation and AI
- Collaborate with internal teams and partners to ensure data accuracy
- Follow data governance and privacy guidelines
- Own delivery of assigned workstreams with timely and accurate outputs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including CRM, data, and client stakeholders
- Present insights and recommendations clearly to client stakeholders
- Communicate findings through dashboards, summaries, and presentations
- Identify risks or dependencies and escalate or address proactively
- Drive improvements in analytics and reporting workflows
- Leverage automation, reusable code, and emerging tools to increase efficiency
- Apply AI-assisted methods to enhance analysis and reporting
- Stay informed on evolving analytics and measurement best practices
Requirements
- 4–7+ years in marketing analytics or a related field
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data analysis
- Hands-on expertise in building and maintaining dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Ability to translate data into clear insights and business implications
- Proven capability to present insights and recommendations to client or stakeholder audiences
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with common analytical techniques (segmentation, trend analysis, modeling)
- Proactive interest in leveraging automation and AI-driven tools
- Solid understanding of data privacy and governance fundamentals
- Preferred: Background in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or consumer health analytics
- Preferred: Experience in Python for data analysis and automation
- Preferred: Familiarity with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
- Preferred: Exposure to guiding junior team members
