Full job description

Role: Oracle Fusion Solution Architect focused on Finance domain in ERP transformation. Responsibilities include ensuring integrator delivers scalable, standard-aligned Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials solutions, owning Finance build activities post-go-live, shaping global Finance design, promoting simplicity and architectural coherence, reviewing functional specs and configurations, managing backlog, validating integrations, supporting data migration and compliance, contributing to testing and quarterly updates, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Requirements: 5-10 years ERP functional experience, hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials configuration expertise, strong understanding of Finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C), architectural awareness, ability to challenge integrators, integration knowledge (APIs, data flows), excellent English communication, analytical mindset. Nice to have: Cash Management, Tax, Intercompany knowledge, multi-country rollout experience, Oracle Analytics and EPM Cloud exposure, prior quarterly update participation, US GAAP and SOX familiarity. What you'll do

  • Ensure integrator delivers a robust, scalable, and standard-aligned solution translating business needs into functional configuration
  • Own Finance build activities post-go-live, driving enhancements, safeguarding configuration quality, managing technical backlog
  • Shape global Finance design across GL, AP, AR, Cash, Tax, Intercompany, SLA
  • Promote simplicity, standardization, and architectural coherence
  • Document and justify key functional decisions
  • Act as functional counterpart to integrator
  • Review and validate functional specs, configuration, data models, and test scenarios
  • Own Finance configuration changes including entities, payment formats, accounting rules, tax/localization
  • Provide L3 expertise and coordinate with Oracle Support and technical teams
  • Maintain functional documentation and design guidelines
  • Manage functional/technical backlog for Finance
  • Identify complexity, risks, and propose simplification/refactoring
  • Drive maintainability and internal best practices
  • Validate Finance integrations (P2P, O2C, banking, payroll, tax)
  • Support data migration reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and local requirements
  • Contribute to SIT/UAT scenarios
  • Support quarterly updates: impact assessments, testing, feature evaluation
  • Stay current on Oracle Cloud innovations and propose process optimizations
  • Partner with Product Owners, BAs, Tech Leads, and Enterprise Architecture
  • Communicate clearly with Finance teams and support knowledge transfer

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of experience in ERP functional roles (Consultant, Lead Analyst, Functional Expert)
  • Strong hands‑on configuration expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials (GL, AP, AR), ideally including at least one full implementation
  • Solid understanding of core Finance processes: Record‑to‑Report (R2R), Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P), Order‑to‑Cash (O2C), and period close
  • Awareness of high‑level architecture, with ability to understand, influence, and contribute to structural design decisions
  • Proven ability to challenge system integrators and guide the solution toward robust, scalable, and standard‑first designs
  • Comfort with integration concepts, including APIs, data flows, and data‑migration logic
  • Excellent communication skills and full professional proficiency in English
  • Hands‑on, curious, and analytical mindset with willingness to dive deep into configuration
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of Cash Management, Tax, Intercompany, and Subledger Accounting / Accounting Hub
  • Nice to have: Experience in multi‑country rollouts, ideally with European localizations
  • Nice to have: Exposure to Oracle Analytics (OTBI, BI Publisher) or data‑loading tools (FBDI / ADFdi)
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with Oracle EPM Cloud (FCCS, Planning, ARCS) and/or Oracle EDM
  • Nice to have: Prior participation in Quarterly Update cycles
  • Nice to have: Exposure to US GAAP, SOX, or internal control frameworks
