The IT Engineer, BRIM SOM Module Expert is responsible for managing the Subscription Order Management (SOM) layer within SAP BRIM, ensuring integrity, scalability, and consistency of subscription lifecycle logic integrated with billing and charging processes. Key duties include functional design and configuration of SAP SOM, modeling subscription lifecycles, ensuring order flow integrity, configuring pricing and commercial rules, and securing integration across BRIM modules. The role requires 5+ years experience in SAP BRIM with expertise in SOM, subscription lifecycle modeling, pricing configuration, and cross-module impacts. The candidate should have strong analytical skills, a standard-first mindset avoiding unnecessary ABAP coding, and experience in Agile environments and international teams. 5+ years of experience in SAP BRIM, with strong expertise in Subscription Order Management (SOM)
Strong expertise in subscription lifecycle modeling and pricing configuration

Strong knowledge of proration, mid-cycle changes and contract modification logic
Experience supporting Product and Sales teams in launching scalable commercial offers

Structured and standard-first mindset — avoiding logic hardcoded in ABAP when configuration can solve it
Comfortable working in Agile delivery environments
Experience working in international and distributed teams (offshore collaboration is a plus)
